About Us
With a degree in Industrial Studies from Middle Tennessee State University, Curt has worked in the automated equipment build industry since 1995. For six years he worked designing automated machinery for a large machine builder. He then gained experience as a project manager while managing multi-million dollar projects. Curt currently schedules machine build projects for SIS and monitors the work schedule to ensure the machinery meets the customer requirements and expectations.
James obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 from Tennessee Tech University. He gained experience as a machine designer while working at a large machine builder. James currently is the lead machine designer for SIS working closely with customers and the SIS build team. He is responsible for making sure the equipment designs meet the customer's needs from the quoting process, through design review, machine build and final run-off.

We maintain experience across a wide range of platforms in industrial automation, software, vision systems, robotics, material handling, and assembly technologies. SIS utilizes state-of-the-art engineering tools and processes in the development of custom automation consisting of SolidWorks for mechanical design and AutoCAD for creating the necessary electrical/pneumatic schematics. PLC and HMI programming is performed utilizing the appropriate software packages for controllers/interface panels.
